An Introduction to
Oatlands Community Group

Established in 2016, Oatlands Community Group is a voluntary, not-for-profit, small charity organisation located in the heart of the Oatlands area of Harrogate.

Our main aim is the creation of community spirit and a sense of shared belonging enriching our community for future generations.  We are not about making money, more about building community spirit and having fun at the same time.

We hope you will be able to see from our website the type of events that Oatlands Community Group have to offer – if you want to find out first-hand why not pop down to one of our community events and meet us?

If you’d like to hear more about what we do and how you can get involved please like us on FaceBook, Twitter or Instagram or just take a peek at our website.  If you’d like to get involved in anyway please get in touch.

We are proud, and in debt to, all of our wonderful volunteers, who without our charity could not run! We managed to snap a quick picture of all our volunteers at our Christmas Seat at our Table.

NYCC Award

In November 2018… there was even more exciting award-winning news!!  Our Youth Volunteer Team were chosen as ‘Highly Commended’ winners in the 2018 Harrogate and District Volunteering Oscars in the category: Volunteering Team of the Year – an award for any group of volunteers who have worked together either on an individual project or in an organisation.

WOW…. they are truly an amazing team and we are very, very proud of them!!!  Well done Team OCG!
